Titanium Alloy

What is Medical Titanium alloy ?

Medical titanium alloys are among the most widely used materials for medical implants. Due to their excellent biocompatibility, good fatigue strength, and low modulus, combined with being more than 50% lighter than stainless steel, they have become the preferred material for many medical and dental applications. Common titanium alloys are categorized into three main types: α and near-α, α+β, and β and near-β.
