Titanium alloy is one of the most widely used in medical implant products. It has become the material of choice for many medical and dental applications due to its excellent biocompatibility, good fatigue strength and low modulus, and is more than half the mass of stainless steel for light weight. Commonly used titanium alloys are divided into three main categories: alpha and near-alpha/alpha+beta/beta and near-beta.
